I see no reason to move off a 5800X3D anytime soon. It’s good to have cheaper options for people to upgrade to and extend the life of their MOBO.

It’s kind of meh. The 5800XT has a little more boost and the 5900XT is a slightly underclocked 5950X. Give us a 5950X3D and a memory controller that will let us run 2000+ FCLK.

Whats the deal with the 5800XT? On paper, the specs are identical to the regular 5800X. Same boost, cache, and TDP. Why the new line? Does it just have a higher/lower base clock?

XT should have stayed with Radeon. They’re going to confuse people.

AM4 should never die. The engineers should go for broke and try to get all future chips to work on AM4 as much as possible. Ten years of AM4 is a record for a supported platform.
