I only played Watch_Dogs for the first time last year without high expectations and enjoyed it, I think Ubisoft kept the hype for the game very high with the E3 trailer and by trying to make it a GTA rival, in the end this was very bad for the game's reputation since many people became disappointed with what they got.

The first Watch Dogs was solid. Felt like a modern day Assassins Creed game

Let’s hope that the movie will be good.

The original is still my favorite in the series. Especially with the Fall of Windy City mod

Its mediocre at best. Nothing good about it.

Ah yes. The game that brought the worlds attention to the downgrades of ubisoft

I wished that Watchdogs was the non-violent equivalent of GTA V: an open world where you do everything by hacking you’re way through. I think with a more hacking focused gameplay the game would’ve stood out more.

It didn’t help that this game got heavily downgraded from the E3 presentation

I played a bit of the first game, but couldn’t get into it for some reason. But then I played the sequel and I had a blast with that one.

  9. Nah, it was extremely mid. It wasn’t a victim of Ubisoft trying its best to market a new game, it was a victim of not being a very good game.

It’s a great game. People have forgotten games are fun, not a report card.

Awesome game. I’m hoping they do more like this one.

I love this game but Ubi ruined its launch

  14. Good game. People hating ubisoft so much that for some reason the game is bad. I dont get it.

I remember the driving mechanics being so slippery that it became one of the reasons why I stopped playing. Other reason was the bland protagonist.

I had a lot of fun with this one back in the day, with the exception of the final mission which was just frustrating with police cars spawning endlessly and ridiculously. Don’t think I ever actually finished the game because of it.

a remaster of this game that looks how the E3 demo did would sell great… but Ubisoft is too stupid for that.

I put a lot of hours into this game on release. Was it perfect? Definitely not. It was no GTA killer like it was thought to be but it’s a good time regardless.

Still mad I only found it after the servers were barely populated on 1.
