I remember in the original Sims when you could build a wall around The Grim Reaper when he spawned so that he could never reach anyone and your Sims would become immortal

    Good times

Wait what. That is just stupid. Why even

Battle Pass is hell of a change of direction for a game like The Sims.

Wasnt the original Sims game supposed to be a critique of consumerism?

I can’t believe the legs that game still has after 10 years.

When I think of games with a battle pass, the Sims is one of the last games I think about. But judging by how ridiculously priced the DLC for that game are, I’m sort of not surprised.

Pretty sure if you wanted all the bundles for the Sims 4 it would be well over $1k ..

Okay, but like, it’s free? There’s not even a premium track like other battle passes, it’s 100% free. It’s just a way to encourage players to play more. You don’t have to participate.

Be upset about the expensive stuff packs and such.

Yes, please continue to infantilise players and take away agency in games which are all about player agency. Deep sigh.

  10. Timed events really are the cancer that killed gaming. When games have timed events, battle passes or seasons it instantly kills my desire to play that game.

I’ve always wanted to play the Sims 4 but all the DLC costs over a grand….

I hope **The Sims 5** has a store approach for new items instead, this way I could just purchase the things I want as new things get released, instead of Electronic Arts going all Paradox on us with a 100 different expansion packs to buy over the years like they are known for doing.

When will this trend die?? When every damn game ends up with a fucking battle pass?!
