Am I right?

No, all 3 heads suffering retardation. It’s a case (maybe LED lights too) that have real “dragonface”.

Maybe I haven’t looked at prebuild lists in a while, but back a few years ago it was always the i7s paired with the low end GPUs

yeah no, usually you get something like a 13700f paired with a rtx 4060 8gb. if the GPU was the best component of prebuilt, they’d be a bit less shit for most people.

  4. I feel like prebuilts always overspec cause instead of GPU. I see many prebuilts with an i7 or i9 and 60/60ti class gpu when a 13th gen i5 is probably good up to an 80 class card. You’re right about the psu mobo and other components being skimped on though.

I kinda think it’s the exact opposite lol

Prebuilt companies main target is the Fortnite audience

It’s mostly the RAM, PSU and storage. The GPU is usually alright and the cpu will do but yeah the rest is absolute dogshit. I was trying to build my prebuilt on PC partpicker and I can’t even find my RAM, case, storage or PSU on there. I just had to settle for the cheapest with the same/similar features but I’m still lost on the case.

I mean, it’s better than my BiL’s pre built “Gaming PC” where everything EXCEPT the GPU is beefy. It made me wanna cry when he told me he paid 1000+ for this mislabeled workstation XD

Awful lot of 4060ti prebuilts out there for this to be accurate.

AMD has changed the game with affordable CPUs. I’m seeing a lot of prebuilts with 5600 or better, which are more than capable in basically any game.

    A lot of the prebuilts I see have a 13700k 32gb of ram and then a 4060.

A friend of mine has a prebuild, and it’s a joke. It has decent performance for the games he plays, but boy is that thing living dangerously. Every time he plays something more demanding, I wonder how long it takes till the power supply just stops, it’s nearly magical how the power supply powers the pc, because that supply is underpowered. I understand you don’t need a 1300 watt supply for a budget build. But a power supply, that just barely manages to supply a pc, is imo a bit of a problem
