Bathtub, warm water, dish soap, a brush of some kind but not rough (I used a drill brush set with a softer brush) and let it air dry, but use towels to get the most of it out by pressing it.
step 1: discard old mousepad
step 2: buy new mousepad

Any soap will lift the skin cells and oil, rinse, blow dry. Wipe down the mouse and controller while you’re at it.
For mine, I scraped as much as I could off with an old credit card, then I cleaned with dish soap and warm water, patted as much of the water out as I could with paper towels and then finished the job with a blow dryer
A dunk in warm soapy water with the soft sponge to scrub with works like a charm. As long as the pad doesn’t have LED.
If you have an LED Microfiber you can clean it with a warm damp sponge with some liquid soap scrub the areas with that. Continue to wet the sponge and “mop up” the soap until you don’t see any suds. Then just air dry it before plugging it in. At no point should the appear soaked in water.
Hmmmm, have you considered washing it rigorously with a brush and detergent?
I use a mousepad which is 3 years old, still looks new and works like one after I brush it every 3 months after it feels looking worn down, and it becomes new like before, just need to soak it in water+detergent for 2-3 hours, then brush it once, and soak it again, wait similar time period, and then brush it 5-6 times and rinse with water.

That’s just from you wiping off the evidence after busting one out while watching your porn, looks like you’ve got a lot of memories with that pad. Lots of sentimental value and you just can’t part with it and get a new one I’m guessing 😆

I throw mine in the washing machine with other clothes. Preferably at 30C
Just run it through the washer. Turns out pretty good. You can either do an extra spin cycle and air dry or run it through a dryer on low heat.
If it dosnt have any electronics attached, just throw it in the dishwasher. I hear you can put them in the washing machine, but it damages the outer edges over time
I just throw mine in the washer and dryer.
Toss it in a washing machine and call it a day.

I honestly just throw mine in the wash with my clothes occasionally. It’s hardly good for the mouse pad but they’re not expensive and it’s worth using clean one.
I just plopped mine in the washing machine and hanged it instead of using the dryer. It was an all black one but it came out clean.
Stick it to the wall/floor/bathtub in your shower and go to town with a gentle brush and a shower head. I found that shower gel works better than dish soap. Air dry away from the sun.
Reminds me, I need to do my monthly mouse and keyboard clean
I just put it in the shower, make it wet, dishsoap, brush with some kind of brush, water and then i leave it to dry. In the sun it takes an hour or two to dry but idk if it can melt so keep checking on it.
I just buy a new one $30 every 10 years ain’t bad
You can run it through the washing machine. I just did it with mine – worked great!
Baking soda & vinegar
Use a plastic bucket or washtub and fill it with cold water and a little bit of detergent, maybe 1/8 cup worth, I like to just swish it around for a few minutes but you can scrub that area if needed. Let it air dry overnight. Worked flawlessly for my speed pad
Washing machine. Low temp and low spin rate.
I throw mine in the washer, no centrifuge, low temp.
Works like a charm, takes a while to hangdry tho
