I feel like we all have double jump and dash in our builds that it should be canonically how V travels around the city

Dash while on the ground, let it travel for a bit, and jump before the dash is finished. You carry the dash momentum while in the air. Lets you space out the double jump and air dash so you don’t need to press as much. I’ve run out of stamina before I thought about balancing when I’m jumping and dashing. As long as you have the Reflex perk to recover stamina by air dashing and/or double jumping (I don’t remember which if not both).

It’s my preferred way to travel. And once you level up Shinobi enough it stops costing stamina

Dash, jump, dash in air, double jump = fastest physical travel through the city

What if there are other Afterlife Mercs or some higher tier gangs does what V does, flying around hunting V for pissing their turf? Or the Arasakas Troy assassins riding motorcycle and then start jumping around just to try and kill V finishing their initial contract.

I used that or fast travel, almost never drove anywhere

I’ve never understood this. I love driving in this game.

    I only had double jump

    I had a weird build
20 cool 20 tech (for the chrome) 20 int

    I was basically Inspector Gadget

You’re doing it incorrectly. It’s jump dash jump.

135h and I dont’ use double jump nor the perk dash.

I move driving car or bike in the game, much more immersive with the first person view.

Forward sprint + Dash > Jump (in quick succession) is by far the fastest way to traverse the map, so fun to zip around at mach 10

The difference is that I don’t have 9 reflex so I do a normal dash and jump mid dash

I also don’t like the double jump because it sorta breaks my immersion a bit, whereas the charge jump doesn’t

In a world of cyber-penises, personal cloaking tech, and brain dances, double-jumping still seems immersion-breaking. Looks like a lot of fun though, I just haven’t tried it yet. I love charge-jumps too much.
