1060 3gb and i5 7400 gang rise up! Runs everything at the very least 30 fps and gta v on high/very high pretty well apart from vegetation filled areas and sometimes lods bug out but it’s not common

It’s not about how fast the PC runs the game, it’s how fast YOU run the game. Speedruns for life.

I mean nice meme but the 6600 is not just one generation older but also bottom tier for that gen, this makes little sense

  4. valleysape

Still runs doom eternal at inferno fps, don’t know why you’d have to bring it up

  5. Pleiades_Wolf

I don’t even have a GPU and I run Minecaft at 100+ FPS. Runs every game I want to play so not going to upgrade until i’m forced to

  6. me chiiling knowing that they’ll never include us in those battles. aahahah

Meanwhile I have a current gen i7 and planning to get an AMD GPU, what am I?

  9. Upgrade to a 1080ti and you will be good for a decade with that bad boy.

Change my mind; gaming was the most fun on an old core 2 duo office pc upgraded with an old gtx 280…

  11. multiwirth_

Is this funny because it’s Intel+Nvidia and AMD+AMD?
Like AMD+Nvidia or Intel+AMD was never an option?

That 1060 3gb is amazing until it isnt lmao

Why do I get the feel that the person who created this meme isn’t up-to-date with PC hardware or don’t have much knowledge about it?

  16. Nagrand_Drax

Me with my Intel Celeron G3900 and no graphics card

I consider myself lucky to get Minecraft to 60 FPS right now.

  20. Finn_The_Cancer

good ol gtx1650 running ghost of tsushima comfortably

Bruh a 6600 can be had for like $100, and it doubles if not triples the fps compared to a 1060 3gb. Its got windows 7/8 drivers too, and actually consumes 20w less. So its foolish not to upgrade

Once you already have a 6600 + r5 7600 for casual gaming and decide to upgrade, and you see the steep price increase with diminishing gains in performance, then yeah, totally not worth it. At least till the end of 2024, next year the situation may change (rx 8500, or some r5 8500 with very powerful cores).

  22. 1060 6gb and i5 8400, will probably upgrade when something important breaks lol

  23. Upset-Ear-9485

1060 is still enough to run new games at 1080 (most of the time). hell i used to run vr on a 1050 ti

  24. FrIoSrHy

I have a 6600 and an i3 12th gen, what does this mean.

  25. RevReddited

Anything can run shaderless modern Minecraft smoothly if you installed the right kind of mods, like I have a 1050 and i7 7th gen **laptop** (2.8ghz btw) and it could run Minecraft at 80~fps at 32 chuck render distance.
