For all we love the game : Stop with doom and get back to quake, the event is called quakecon and there wasn’t a new single player quake game since … 2005 ? (quake 4)
I just looked this up the other day and thought the next doom was cancelled, so this is definitely a pleasant surprise, dumbass medieval theming aside
If they haven’t fired the director that screwed Mick over and patched things up so that we can get a return of what we got in 2016 I won’t be picking this one up.
But that already exists and has a name. Two, in fact: Heretic and Hexen.
