Looking back at it now the incremental changes I made to V’s looks really fits into the story I followed.
and it lines up so well with how the tarot cards unfold V’s story too, there’s an unwritten story of weighted decisions and how the more karmic decisions generally reward a better outcome. which is obvious, right? but i quite like how cyberpunk constantly challenges this dialogue with its grim-dark denominations of what would usually be menial decisions IRL.
A short but sweet life with Panam as your lover, free, with some glimmer of hope is the best ending.

This is also my favorite arc. My 2nd favorite is the darkest possible outcome: nomad origin to devil ending.
Hits really great as female V, Judy romanced, too. Panam – who I failed to romance because she isn’t into girls – still takes on the world for you when you ask her to help save your life, and makes you an Aldecaldo. And because she’s the fucking hero of the game, she also >!lets you take Judy along with you to AZ!<. So it’s a very precious ending – you, your girl, and riding off into the wastes on the Basilisk with your best friend (RIP Jackie).
