More pictures, several are redundant: [https://imgur.com/a/lpVDaln](https://imgur.com/a/lpVDaln)

Lots of equipment is stored in the closet (see album). Album also shows some of my gear more closely. Still need to invest in a VNA and full-sized spectrum analyzer instead of my tinySA. I tidied up a lot! Normally there’s much more garbage all over, haha.

    Custom walnut desk #1: 58″ x 30″
    Custom walnut desk #2 83″ x 25″
30″ unscrewable legs on each with 0-1″ height adjustment on each leg.
Prayer plant, snake plant. Plant light attached discreetly to the lamp (you can see it stick up) on nightly timer.
Shelf on top left features master’s degree and a CO2 laser amplifier PCB that I designed a few years ago.
Poster ahead is of Washington state, which is my home that I love so dearly!
Poster to the right is a half life Combine propaganda poster that I’ve had since college and still like. 😀

PC stuff – two 28″ 4k monitors, of which one is 120Hz. RTX 4080. 7700X. I prefer wired keyboard/mouse for the response time, so you’ll have to forgive a few wires along with my lab area.

Walnut butcher block desks were bought from some guy who’s about to retire on the Olympic Peninsula. He was happy to cut them custom. Took a ferry to meet him and saved money. Finished them with 220 grit sandpaper and General Finishes satin water based poly, 2 coats. Love how they turned out.

The oscilloscope is Rigol’s new DHO924S and I LOVE it. You can’t beat it for the price. The metcal iron is perfect for soldering small components, but you need to use the hot air gun for anything that heat sinks well. POE+ switch powers the RFID reader that I’m working on. tinySA spectrum analyzer gets the job done for now. Power supply is total overkill but was free and works well.

Weird lamp between prayer plant and left monitor is a speaker for music. I otherwise use my noise cancelling headphones, which I could hardly work without! They’re great for WFH.

Lies, it’s much too clean to be an engineer’s desk /s

Real talk though, I’m jealous and want your setup
