Ahaha, fits so perfectly. I also thought a few days ago when XDefiant came up: “*Oh, it looks nice. You could try it out.* “Then I looked to see who it was from: Ubisoft. So I immediately deleted it from my memory because it has no future.

Ubisoft is on the same NO-GO level as EA.

Prince of Perisa: The Lost Crown was pretty legit, actually. I just wish when I bought it *from Epic* that Ubisoft didn’t decide to install their own software first, make me install it from their software, and then prompt me for admin rights like 3 times every time I open the damn game.

  3. I’ll just keep buying and playing games I enjoy.

“Ooooh, a game about assassin ninja samurais! How co- nevermind”

  5. I’m as annoyed by Ubisoft launcher and crappy 3 tier versions as the next person, but some of their games are still enjoyable so i will keep playing them.

  6. I only buy Ubisoft games never. The second I see their name on any game it is a big nope. Micro-transactions in a single player game? God help us

I really enjoy Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Far Cry 3. Once I finish Sleeping Dogs, I will play Watch Dogs 2 next.

When i say i like the Assasins creed RPG’s i get lynched

Gamers complain an awful fucking lot. Glad I like to just have fun and play the games rather than nitpick every little thing I can find about a game. If you dont buy it and play it, who tf cares. Not gonna hurt my feelings. Shadows looks awesome 🤷🏽‍♂️

i would apply this more to EA Games than Ubisoft. Ubisoft may recycle a lot, but their art and writing is typically very good. That said I probably only buy them once they’re $30 or less, just based on the principle of not rewarding iterative sequels with a full purchase.

People act like ubi has never made a good game ever lol

Are you telling me you don’t like clearing your 15th tower of some kind and getting the materials to make an elk scrotum pouch?

  13. KenshinBorealis

They’ll just have to get used to us not owning their games

  14. snypesalot

If this sub would get Ubisofts dick outta their mouth, for all the talk about how had they are yall really cant find something else to talk about thats “good”?

  15. I don’t get why Ubisoft gets so much hate.

  16. Rino-Sensei

Ubisoft bad, give me upvote hehehe

    Bunch of sheeps … i swear …

Yall gonna sit here and act like Ubisoft doesn’t put out consistent 7 and 8 out of 10 games on the regular. Skull and Bones is an outlier that had its writing on the wall. But Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed have put out consistently good (not ground breaking, but good) games for years now.

But sure, bandwagon and what not. Can’t wait till somebody brings up Yasuke (which is cool as fuck btw)

I’m sure i’m just not internet enough or something but it seems like Ubisoft games are typically pretty good.

Assassins Creed Valhalla/Origins/Odyssey have all been really liked I thought.

Far Cry Series is formulaic but it does what it does quite well. 6 was a downstep for sure but 5 was fantastic.

Riders Republic was something different and seemed enjoyed overall.

Kingdom Battle is a good RTS series.

XDefiant has a shitty battle pass but the gameplay it self has seemed to be something people really enjoy.

The monetezation of the AC games is ok. Nothing forced on you at all and game can be completed without touching them. Yea, they’re bloated but meh.

Idk, I feel like I’m missing something here.

If the game’s good, I dont really care where it comes from. Besides, its not like all of Ubisoft’s games are bad.

  20. BigBobaFlame

What exactly is wrong with Ubisoft games?

  21. Mikri_arktos

I really like Ubisoft games. They’re a bit of a comfort game if that’s a thing. I play them when I need to relax.

All their games have a familiar feel, pretty landscape, and simple stories and gameplay and I love it

I didn’t really like AC Valhalla because it was overwhelming with stuff, but I would still play it just to walk around in the snow, and it’s pretty nice.

Anyone enjoy any ubisoft game post 2013?

  23. FlopsMcDoogle

Sure, Ubisoft has a formula at this point but the games aren’t bad….

  24. Organic_Song_5872

The circle jerk against Ubisoft on here is wild. They sell millions of copies of every game. Their games are, in general, very good.

  25. Yes Ubisoft bad.

But games like Far Cry 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Anno 1800, and Asscreed Syndicate good.

    So I don’t even know.

  26. Cloudthatcher

Remember that time a From Software game was published by Ubisoft?

  27. loversama

A friend said to me: “Have you heard about this new COD like game? It’s made by the original people and its gunplay is really good.. It’s also free to play!”

I was like: “That sounds awesome I am willing to give it a try, is it on Steam?”

    Friend: “No it’s on Ubisoft”

    Me: “Ahhh that’s a shame… Pass!”
