Bruh this was the goofiest yet the most spiritual side mission on the game 😂
The whole mission is weird AF, the first time I pounded the stakes in and killed him myself, second time I said nah and let it happen but left after he died…. Next time I’m shooting the cop for sure haha
For such a brilliant game, that first part of this mission is really poorly designed. Go there expecting a fight and you might never even try approaching the cop without your gun out. And if you want to retry that part to test a different outcome, you have to redo the shitty scripted chase because there are no save points after. And Bill is scripted to die no matter what you do.
First time I did it, I thought we had to save Bill. Kept replaying it again and again, but always had my guns ready because I expected there was going to be a fight. Only because I got frustrated with trying to save Bill and looked it up online, did I find out about the rest of the mission.
I like how they also turn off photo mode for this sequence

The only disappointment of this mission is that Wakako doesn’t pay you after you nail that bastard to the cross. Was the gig after all, to kill him.
Seeing this didn’t shake me as much in my country people do this every holy week for penance. Getting crucified, lashing themselves to bleed. People watch like it’s the most normal thing.
Sinnerman has one of my favorite Johnny quotes, “He’s fucked in the head, the world’s fucked in the head, and YOU’RE fucked in the head because MY fucked up head is inside it. Guess if you wanna save the world, that’s the first step; get fucked in the head.”
I’m still perplexed why you can’t activate photo mode during specifically this part of the quest.
I mean they did it in Ancient Rome, so I don’t see why not.
First playthrough I nailed his ass to the cross, second playthrough I said “Fuck off Johnny” and too the money Ms. Mohawk gave me and left
Boring ass mission where everyone is annoying as shit. Next time ima smoke everyone involved.
Did this quest like 6 times my last playthrough I rushed the cop, killed him, killed this guy and killed the journalist. I was happy

I was honestly expecting somebody in a cyber Roman costume come out and stab him with a spear at the end
Lmfao my gf was literally getting home from church when I was in the middle of doing this scene. She was like “wtf are you doing to that guy” and I had to explain to her that I didn’t know that was gonna happen until it was too late to back out.
Damn am I the only one who loved this mission because it wasnt about shooting shit and actually about the depth of humanity that really fleshes out Night City
This is one of those quests that seemed to have a big impact on me the first time I played it, but the second time I went through, I could not make heads or tails of what they were trying to say.
I still enjoyed how it made me feel the first time around, And sometimes I’ll have quest needs is bibs, especially in a game like this. it’s just not as profound as I thought at first.
I’m always lost on these posts cause I don’t remember mission names or character names. Is there something wrong with me?
