Games have been removed from your library. For an unlisted reason. Excuse me wtf EA?

  1. Hahaha, first it was Ubushit, now EA. This is exactly why piracy will bloom and grow.

    “View details for information”.

I guess, you should do this first.

Also, did you buy the games from EA? Or steam? Did you used a key purchased from key sellers? Do you have purchase receipts?

Contact steam first in support section. Check if steam is connected to your EA account properly.

Yep, never wanted to buy from them, and never will.

If I lose the right to use the stuff I bought I get my money back. It’s simple.

I got the same message about Dead Space 2, but I went to install it and it was fine, so I have no idea what’s going on.

There are reports of this coming from all directions, this isn’t an individual thing.
Something happened, likely some fuckup or error in EA’s servers.

  7. lukester91

Nothing was actually removed, guessing it was just a bug they had way back.

there are multipe reasons this could happen – your EA Play / Play Pro expired, you could have been banned / suspended by accident (someone else in your group was banned / suspended, so everyone in the group got also banned / suspended, this happens sometimes) or you could accidentally be logged in with a different region – not all games are available in all regions

clear your cache and re-log in and see if it helped, if not, ticket and ask what happened

It’s some fuckup on EA’s end most likely. I will just wait until an update happens.

There’s gotta be more to this story somehow. I mean i hate EA as much as the next guy but would they really just remove games without warning? Why did it just happen to this guy and not the however millions that bought it

  11. ..and they wonder why we like Steam so much.

  12. NSL10Legato

Not really sure but I think EA is going to stop the distribution of the extras that are associated with those games. You could and maybe still can download the soundtrack, artbooks ect. on there website for free. Don’t know the reason.
    A dick move anyway.

  13. ProtoXZero

They are testing the waters to see if there are a lots of complains its EA come on… dont buy shit from them or ubisoft in any case

  14. Cl4whammer

Currently their launcher always forgets my login, so iam not surprised if it forgets other stuff like bought games xD

  15. strawbericoklat

Yes, I’ve seen this like last week, thought it was quite fishy. Just in time after I finished Jedi Survivor, so I couldn’t care less and just ignore it.

  16. CoreCompl3x

They just moved the DLC and addon stuff around in the client. At least that is what the client or the help article told me a few days ago….

  17. BriochesBreaker

By any chance did you buy those keys from the grey market? Sometimes these sites buy keys with stolen CCs, these keys get deactivated if the original owner issues chargebacks or similar stuff. Happens also on Steam btw.

To be clear, not accusing you, it’s only one of the possible reasons.

I’m having the exact same issue, only game is appearing in my library is Jedi survivor, even though I have mass effect legendary edition installed and andromeda but it’s just not their. Every single ea game I’ve owned has been removed. I would suggest this is a fuck up on their end

  19. Godess_Ilias

EAs new scheme to make you buy the games again

Hmm… seems like this has occurred multiple times in the last day or two. I digress, but anyone remember the awful Origin? It would prevent my Windows from shutting down. Even on a freshly reinstalled PC, I thought “maybe,” but it still happened. I also remember going through the online EA support forums, and support said something along the lines of “not an Origin problem.”

  21. My games still exist, just a bug. If your games are missing clear cache.

  22. head_banger_48

If only, just only if they decides to remove their launcher entirely and just stick to Steam.

  23. Happened to me months ago, I uninstalled Origin ASAP

  24. CrazyGambler

I got same message, but I still have all the content I have ever payed for, but it removed stuff I have never owned, I think what is happening is:

    1. It removes all the hidden beta versions of the games from your library, that used to be a Issue with origin, EA app just hides those games but they still remain in the library.

    2. It removes all content added to your account by the EA subscription that have expired

    3. Removes all the content that used to link to origin or Ea App when bought on another stores, like Steam for example, when you bought EA game on steam and then linked your account in the game, it would appear in origin but would be unplayable, telling you to launch the game through the store it was purchased in.

    But thats just my assumptions.

  25. vinperator

Long live physical media, I can not stress that enough. I hope you get your games back man!

  26. Uninstall EA and Reinstall it..
    Fixed the issue for me
