If I’m not mistaken, companies like Alienware would put stickers over the display outs on their motherboards. Dunno if they still do it but it’s a clear indicator.

Best thing is to just tape over motherboard display outs with a note to use GPU, like someone(I don’t remember who) does.

Isn’t this not much of a problem nowadays with Windows switching apps to High-Performance GPU by default in games?
You will get some input lag from playing this way though.
