Work on getting to Ace first, then “x points away from Conqueror” next.

If it’s solo, for the first 2 weeks the leaderboard will go up by ~100 points per day, for the first 2-3 weeks. After that the top 100 player will gain 30-40 points per day.
I know because I pushed solos in EU server last season and it took me 3 weeks to get conqueror with an average of 70-80 points per day and 149 matches. I was Ace Dominator (5230 points) when I got into conqueror tier.
Also it’s important to reach further than top 300 to make sure you’re being promoted to conq the next day. I first got to rank 398 and I got demoted to rank 520 the next morning, in the span of only 8 hours. The next day I was ranked 264 and the next morning I got demoted to 401. That means that the earlier you get to top 500, the more further you need to go so you don’t get pushed out of top 500 before the rank reset.
