Back in the day I would open up cmd on the school PC’s, enter “color a” (green=hacker) and then “rmdir C:Windows /s /q”. Obviously it would say “no permission” or whatever, but it did that for every single file in the directory (fast moving letters=hacker). Teach always looked at me real funny.

I use linux for my uni work, because contrary to popular belief most stuff is easier to set up than on windows lol

I love Windows using all my data to make money. The time consuming updates to fill the big security gaps in Windows are so cool. Even knowing bitlockers backdoor is a waste of time makes Windows11. more exciting. Now I have a excuse for all the ewaste due to lack of tpm2. Lets fill the dumps. /s

Iām petty. I switched to Linux this week because the latest Windows update either added or toggle back on advertising on my lock screen. Absolutely not. I paid for a retail license of Windows 11 Pro, which means *I* am not the product and will never accept *being* the product. They either get my cash or they get my eyeballs, not both. And absolutely not on my personal PC.

I use Windows and Linux depending on what I do. Some tools, IDEs that I use for embedded software development projects work on Windows better, some don’t. Linux is running in a VM, got two monitors. Basically I am running both.
By the way, want to try out Linux Mint. The UI is very appealing. Currently using Ubuntu.
EDIT: Coming back to the thread topic, I use the terminal and the mouse depending on the task. But in general using the terminal is just fun.

I use Linux just because gnome looks pretty and I like to call the power shell app thingy it has ‘the hacker box’.
Been using it for like, four years already and didn’t bother to learn Linux hacker stuff because the OS subject at university ruined it for me.
