I miss when PlayStation was willing to put goofy fun games at the front of their brand. the best thing I ever did was installing an ODE in a PS1.

Sony has no real identity anymore.
Spider-Man seems like their entire identity and it’s not even really their character plus they changed his face half way through.
Everybody hates Aloy, they made Kratos old and depressed, Druckmann said no more Nathan Drake or Joel.
I guess the top contenders would be Jin Sakai but let’s be honest he’s not that charismatic. And Ellie but I don’t see McDonald’s having a traumatized fingerless lesbian shell of a woman as a toy..
Sony really needs to go back to the whacky edgy personable colorful fun games and characters.
Ratchet and Clank fit the bill but they’ve been around for years and yet never reached that mainstream appeal cause they look like DreamWorks leftover, same as Astrobot which they never capitalized on anyway
