I still have and use a Hotmail email address somewhat regularly. Microsoft’s own emails that I know are legit because they are newsletters I subscribed to long ago still come. Some of them get sent to the junk folder. You need to “train” the junk mail filter every once in a while, to keep what you know is good as they constantly change the filter rules based on whatever the latest phishing method in use by the bad guys.

I’ve been using Hotmail since I can remember, probably around 2002 or something. Since a year or two all my mails get flagged as spam. Literally have to manual add all emailadresses as ‘safe’, which is annoying as fuck…
