And they can put ads in the games and people would still buy the games then get on reddit to complain about the ads in the games they bought.

  2. Greensssss

Hahaha, its all spiraling downwards. And somehow EA still survives.

  3. If they make a modern battlefield game, they can have billboards or what ever in the game without it being a big deal, even better if we can blow up the billboards while playing.

Yeah I’ve been not buying games from EA as hard as I can, but ultimately I can only make decisions for myself.

im looking forward to Dragon Age 4 tho

    and mass effect 4

not sure tho if ads will be enough to not make me buy it

EA: Let’s put real political ads in Burnout Paradise, alongside the fake ones.

If you preorder this game after the journey we’ve been on you eat crayons.

Honestly, I’m just here waiting to blow up some ad-filled in-game billboards. Also, maybe looking out for Dragon Age 4…unless those ads ruin it.

EA execs are unbelievably out of fucking touch and have been for a long time. It seems EA only sinks further and further into greed lust and depravity.

I would want to see how and what kind, as much as I hate to see ads. I’m curious if they can do it in a creative way. Like a little banner ads hanging from the building in battlefield. That would be smart and I personally may let it slide for creativity.

Just keep it simple. Don’t buy the game. Don’t watch reviews, don’t watch live streams. The internet always throws a temper tantrum but EA will earn record breaking profits from crap like this. Make any full retail paid game with ads dead in the water.

They should try making a good battlefield first it’s been a decade

  13. TheMassiveLiability

As if people needed more reasons to stop buying battlefield games

I think the last EA game I bought was Dragon Age 2. Last BF game I played was BF3, and while I heard BF1 was good but since I moved to PC there are MUCH better alternatives whenever I get that historical itch than watching some guy 360-noscope from a horse with an automatic-firing Mosin Nagant

EA can keep doing dumb shit because ultimate team from fifa/ea fc and Madden make like $3 billion annually

  16. InnateSquire

Yet another reason to never touch an EA game.

  17. GroundbreakingAd2638

I would not mind as long as it is done right and dosent feel forced

  18. Dirt_Slap

The only tremendous live service EA knows is soccer gambling. Oh sorry, soccer live mechanics.

Haha lol get fucked EA, join Ubisoft at the back of line please.

  20. Manitizer

I bet it’ll get to a point where you won’t be able to join a game without watching a 15-30 ad first.

  21. Jason8ourne

5 bucks for a simple mediocre weapon skin isn’t enough anymore? Lol

For those wondering what a triple A game is:

    AAA

    Ads

    Annual subscription fees or DLCs

    Addictive practices (loot boxes, etc)

  23. SoldierOfGodrick

If people would stop buying packs and shit in Fifa and madden, EA would go bankrupt the next day. And it would be a great day for the world of gaming

  24. Kittensniff

I learned my lesson with Battlefield 5, never buying another battlefield game again. It’s a real shame too because games like Hell Let Loose and Squad just don’t scratch the itch of the older battlefield games.
