Normally I keep my list vertically but getting everything to fit in one image was a challenge lmao. I love spreadsheets (as nerdy as it is) and keep track of movies, shows, games, finances, etc on a giant mastersheet. Last time I posted, I had a about 30 games played and since then I've more than doubled it plus added additional stats for each game! These are purely ranked on how much fun I had. If you think of anything I should play based on my taste lmk 👀

It would be a life achievement if I see my indie game on the top of your list some day. 😀
I keep a spreadsheet of my library. And highlight games based on if I’ve played through them or not
Might add a tab for games I’m eyeballing now that I see this
Doesn’t it terrify you to see the numbers of hours in total spent playing games?
U ever considered taking more time for games, seems u max out around 100? Or do you just prefer to have variety?
Days gone and Dragon Age are definitely worth playing
TLOU2 ? ðŸ¤
This is very satisfying to look at!
Also – I’d highly recommend the Metal Gear Solid games from your “eyeballing to buy” list. They’re fab.
Gotta add Sea of Stars. That’s another that’ll be top of your list
How’d you only play ff16 for 30 hours? I was barely done half at 30 and thought I was speeding through it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Interesting! I did something simillar to identify the genre i like the most. I found out it’s 2000s action games.
Cool selection of games!
Damn I have a whole back log of games life has kept me too busy to beat!
‘Rimworld: infinite’
Same…
Love the “When I get a Steam Deck” (by the way, totally worth it, go for it).
For Mount & Blade Bannerlord it’s imperative to buy it on PC, it’s a fun game but mods make it much much better.
I personally love Iron Lung but I can respect you giving it a 7.3.
Awesome! I have one too but it’s to help me “calculate” what to play next. I list my estimated hours to clear the main story, my approximate completion percentage, and weight it against my interest level. It’s not perfect but it helps motivate me to get through games faster.
You played Oblivion in 2021 but don’t have Morrowind anywhere on the list? Bold. Highly recommend it if you’re capable of getting into older games.
You could also use howlongtobeat.com to track your backlog and write reviews and such.
ah. a kindred spirit. here’s my format.

so far, 261 out of 507 games played
Is someone going to argue with the review scores like IGN 😹
ADHD? Or autistic?
Great list, but I don’t understand how Starbound is only .1 below terraria – they’re similar but Terraria goes so much farther in a much more polished way. Different strokes I guess.
I wish I had even remotely as much time on my hands as you do
On your scale, do you consider a 7 a good game or an average game
Armored core takes way more than that. You are meant to do NG+ and NG++ to get the endings
Damn, putting Hades below andromeda and fallout 4 feels criminal.
I love this! I have a similar backlog too. So many great games,.so little time.
Cool list! Have you ever thought about using Backloggd or How Long to Beat? Putting your times into How Long to Beat is fun and Backloggd can be easy for categorizing.
Considering the games you like and how you ranked the first one + New Vegas, I would highly recommend KOTORII. Writer like New Vegas, generally considered to have a strong story + lore which is what you liked from those games, admittedly I doubt I am telling you much you don’t know.
Judging from some of the shooter / action games you enjoy (particularly DOOM 2016 perhaps Titanfall 2 as well), I bet you would enjoy ULTRAKILL. Fast-paced Stylish Action Shooter with a very clear, sick aesthetic and a LOT of fun gameplay tools and other bullshit. I similarly think you might enjoy the Devil May Cry games: Probably either start with Devil May Cry 3 on the HD Collection (Devil May Cry 1 is good but much more archaic, Devil May Cry 2 is just a bad game, DMC3 is also a prequel and thus going into it first fits well) or Devil May Cry 5 (though you’ll lose story context, IIRC the game does provide in-game xplanations though). Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance also has some great story stuff and that kinda stylish action.
Given your enjoyment of the Resident Evil remakes, checking out The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2 on Steam would be well worth your time I think. Shinji Mikami, the director and/or producer of the original Resident Evil 1 through 4, produced or directed both of them. I think you would find value in them!
One that’s maybe outside your wheelhouse (not a lot of JRPGs on here) but one I want to recommend, especially considering you have some classic ones like Chrono Trigger and FF7 on your “When I get a Steam Deck” list, is The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky trilogy on Steam. They do take a bit to get going in most peoples eyes (I think I got hooked earlier than most), but it is a true trilogy in the sense of something like Lord of the Rings where it is one continuous story so keep that in mind. Absolutely some of my favorite games of all time though, some real good and well balanced gameplay, love the world lore and care stuff like NPCs get (NPCs change dialogue very frequently and even have their own miniplots you can pick up on), the story gets really emotionally investing particularly by the end of the first game. If you’re willing to give it a go it is the kind of game I highly recommend at least giving a go if you have interest in a bit more of a traditional JRPG than FF16!
I hope my suggests help as this was a fun list. Would love to see you post it again with time, maybe when you hit 100 games ranked?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Arkham City, and Sekiro are some of my favorite games ever and they’re all in your owned queue. You’re in for some good times along with some others you have on there.
Sekiro especially is just such a unique and addicting experience along with being a game with an amazing setting, soundtrack, and gameplay.
I started to do the same after realizing that I have a growing list of games that I have never played. This year I have completed Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Disco Elysium and Banner Saga.
There’s no Stardew Valley in those lists therefore those are invalid /j
