Weird observation but I’m doing a VR playthrough.
It’s my 5th playthrough and with the REALVR mod, you can adjust your characters viewpoint in a few areas including just in general.
I made my V a little taller than average and it has made a weird difference in the playthrough. Having this slightly different perspective makes the game feel a little different.
If you enter photo mode while standing next to someone you’ll see that V is actually fairly short. Like I did this next to Panam and they were around the same height (or maybe she’s just tall?).
On the topic of size, have you ever noticed how small Johnny is? Not just height wise, but overall. It’s as if they shrunk him down slightly while maintaining all his proportions.

Have you ever seen a first person perspective game that doesnt look off? In a true FPP you wouldn’t see much at all, none of the cool stuff like your weapons. You can’t get animations to be satisfying and accurate. That’s like the first law of thermodynamics of game design or something.
No, V seems the right height when talking to people but sometimes when I’m in night city I feel like I’m crouched, I think it’s the perspective of the buildings are off sometimes.
Especially when driving cars. It feels like the seat is too low.
