It’s a contentious topic but I wouldn’t be opposed to limited time events with randomised “Black Zones” on the current map with contestable loot. Black Zones would only appear at Final Exfil so everyone has equal opportunity to gear up or not participate at all. Being at Final Exfil would also minimise the potential for sweats to camp the zone.

There’s nothing wrong with having it as a separate mode/event, it’s just extra content that probably won’t distract from other stuff cuz it wouldn’t take super long to implement. But from what I’ve played of MW3 (admittedly uninstalled it months ago) I feel like PvP would just kill a good portion of the positives I had of MWZ, the camaraderie and wholesome player interactions. Also I don’t wanna be in fear of getting sniped as I’m doing shit. I probably wouldn’t engage with it. That’s just me though, and again, the game can only get better if it’s added as an extra thing, it would simply be more content
