I, for one, am very interested in learning about world donkey day.

I guess you could say Windows is ASS… sorry I’ll leave

  3. ILoveSexWithAsians

blame your IT department for not disabling all that

all of it can be disabled in Home versions too

but y’all rather complain and revel in your ignorance than check a few boxes

_Can you stop talking about donkeys for FIVE minutes?!_

  5. TestDZnutz

And I thought windows 8 was trash. Frankly, I’m impressed. Someone had to dig deep to really make this worse.

  6. Trungyaphets

Windows 11 automatically turns on Copilot and Xbox in task bar everytime the laptop runs windows update. Fuck Microsoft.

As much as I want to say, it’s not a big deal and it’s just a little configuration to get rid of it…. It is a big deal and Microsoft needs to fix their crap. I wonder if making comments via their feedback app would do any good.

You’ve got about 50 settings to change, plus all the Edge, One Drive, and 365 annoyances. The worst is getting all your file associations to the photo viewer and media player you want to use, which Windows will change back. Microsoft has locked that shit down so you can’t just change them all in one sweep.

I didn’t get around to it before loading up my own programs on my current laptop but I nuked my last laptop clean as soon as I got it. 0% cpu usage idle, 7% ram usage. That bad boy was cleeeeaaan

  10. All of this is easily preventable.  Your IT department sucks.

Use Windows LTSC!! Don’t ever use any other version!!

If I’m correct, you can turn that off by going to Settings > Personalization > Start and toggling off “Show recommendations for tips, shortcuts, new apps, and more”.

If I’m wrong, then feel free to correct me so others who are in the same boat can do something about it.

Lol, I don’t know where you get that OOBE BYPASSNRO is the “cleanest” way to install, all it does is allow you to configure a local account right from the start (rather than later), changes nothing else (now that I think of it, it might even bypass the part were you can choose the settings that govern all that crap you see). Someone messed up big time the configuration of you “fresh” “work” environment with qbit installed.

  14. oogaboogadookiemane

You can disable all that crap. It’s always the first thing I do after installing windows.

  15. AllMyFrendsArePixels

    Very professional. 10/10 Micro$oft.

  16. jitteryzeitgeist_

Why does your work pc have QBit Torrent and Forza installed on it?

  17. Myke5161

Why there is adware and marketing nonsense in windows is beyond me.

  18. bangersnmash13

I’ve been using Windows 11 for at least 2 years now and have never seen the things some people here complain about. I’ve never had an issue with W11.

  19. prombloodd

Microsoft is awful bold to include ads on an operating system you have to pay for in the first place.

  20. Merciless_Hobo

A work computer with qBittorent and Forza Horizon 5? You sure about that?

  21. Daoist_Serene_Night

disable that shit by GPO in Pro

did the same thing and never saw that shit again

  22. Jaibamon

    Microsoft Rewards is an issue?

Having a Copilot icon is an issue?

  23. ChileHunter

Why are you circling donkeys and crappy mobile games. What is this post? You have a computer at work? Oooh how nice for you.🙄

  24. bobby4385739048579
