I’m running into the issue where my system power cycles while gaming on XMP1. I’m hitting 4800mt/s when my Corsair vengeance pro is rated for 6400. I don’t know enough about manually overclocking to feel comfortable fussing with it before getting a little bit of help.
So far I’ve been able to get my pc up and running with my RAM at 6400mt/s but about 10 minutes into any game it power cycles. I know it’s my ram because running with XMP booster on auto puts my ram at 4800mt/s and is stable no matter what. All of my drivers and chipset are up to date. I don’t have any conflicting bloatware or background processes.
I’d obviously like to run with my RAM at full potential. I read that my processor can only handle 4800mt/s AND that people were able to use 6400mt/s by manually setting timings. I think this is where I’m looking for guidance specifically.
Relevant hardware: B760 Aorus Elite AX // i7-12700kf unlocked // GeForce RTX 3060 OC Edition // 2x16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro (in picture) // 2tb Samsung 990 pro NVMe SSD/ 850w gold PSU.
TLDR; Got 6400mt/s ram but can’t get it past 4800mt/s without crashing games. Looking for help to set it up manually.

Manually set the RAM frequency to 6000 MT/s after enabling XMP. See if that stabilizes, and decrease further if needed.
