The real controversy: Who the fuck puts a clear CMOS button on the back of the I/O next to the USB ports so you push it accidentally while plugging shit in?!?
White_Racoon
happened to me more than once, first time i was a greenhorn and just took it apart again
second time i just squeezed it in

I would never buy an MB without the IO shield already being part of the board.

Oh, you think that is bad, my dumb ass didn’t realise that my I/O shield had little “fins” which stick inwards.
I have somehow gotten a USB to USB-C cable stuck inside it, I can’t pull it out as it has somehow clipped to the fin so it pulls the entire I/O shield.
I need to take my entire PC apart to try and get this USB out, and to make it worse is that I might not ever get it out.
Also I realised this issue after I did all my cable management and as soon as I plugged the USB I knew I fucked up.

No one cares
I’ve had more than one IO shield come in the box bent out of shape.
If you do this, don’t worry about it. Not having one makes no difference at all.
this meme will come in handy one day. (i hope it won’t ^^’)
Don’t forget to hammer it in as well

This is why I bought a mobo with a built in io shield
*Stares in integrated I/o shield*
I just left it out 😂
You need to hammer in that brace
I feel like he could afford a mobo with a built I’m io shield

Spend an hour on cable management and you see this shit…
It’s a mistake you usually only make once.
More airfloe
Literally my PC right now
Without it the air flow is better.
Welp, it’s time to grab the screwdriver then.
F, I did this so many times 🤦♂️
Can someone explain? I don’t have a pc
Could be worse I lost mine somehow during upgrade
O well more airflow for my Linux build
Rookie mistake. He won’t do it again.
Nah, just unscrew the mobo and wiggle it in there.
This is a mistake I made once. And never again.
That is a trauma I can never forget. And because of my OCD , I just had to get it in there.
They still make mobos with PS2 ports?
