Sometimes I don’t understand corporations because if I had an insanely popular thing that was tanking due to a non issue I would just reverse course and undo the decision.
Then again, Reddit made a brain-dead decision that was wildly unpopular, riled up the user base and caused massive protests and they still won.

It’s so mind boggling when you actually look at the numbers when comparing the estimated profitability of an incredible title such as God of War Ragnarok and then compare it to FIFA/MADDEN or GTA5 Shark cards and realize why publishers fiend for successful long term live service games.
