Did you ever see that fan-made Cyberpunk project Phoenix short film. It was like Johnny Silverhand, John Wick-ing it up but he kept looking at a battery/watch. Like he was on a very limited charge time…make me think that there was some sort of synth-body he was using that had a limited time use….kinda makes you think where the story could go…

alt says that rogue AI’s aren’t really interested in humans… for now since real world technology is too rudimental for them. It makes sense since top highest tech of 2077 is however based on pre datakrash technology that megacorp try to recover from the old net.

i kinda dig that, good potential idea. for orion, i was wondering how they would reproduce the “passenger” role that silverhand filled. like of course we don’t want a straight plot copy, but eliminating the discourse between v and the “passenger” would mean we lose a bit of the dialogues we’ve generally come to love. means the player character, if remarking on something, would always be talking aloud to themselves. not ideal.
i could dig either the player character itself as a rogue AI, with fragmented sections of self occasionally speaking (delamain style, but deeper), or perhaps a normal human with a rogue AI operating alongside your brain due to some kind of songbird-esque hijinks. thanks to canto and erebus, we’ve kinda already broken that ice, could simply take it further.

Nah, hope not. Too clichè. It’s the same with almost every movie AI somehow becoming human in the end. They’re not, They’re machines and they will never think or feel like we do. I hope they stay the ominous threat they actually are.

Isn’t that one of the main theories as to who Mr. Blue Eyes is?

That sounds interesting, you have a main plot but can also just be whatever you want
Stickybandits9
We could have already been doing that.

I would find Brendon, and I would marry him!

That would honestly be a cool twist. A neutral AI main character before the what I assume to be inevitable war between humans and AI break out again

No, in the sequel we will play as V alive and well. AND NO I’M NOT COPING SHUT UP 😭

The player character has to be relatable to the player, how many sapient AIs born from 1990s Cyberpunk timeline Daemons are actual existing potential buyers for this hypothetical game in reality?
The perspective doesn’t exist. They’d have to invent a perspective for an AI which would be a monumental task of imagining an entire AI world *and then tell players they don’t get to be a part of that alien digital world*. That’d be like inventing an entirely new IP and developing an entirely new alien digital world/setting and then not using it because the plot hook is that that’s the familiar world the player character is leaving behind to do… what, exactly? *Be a sapient taxi cab?*

What if we essentially did already?
I mean, was that really Johnny’s engram?
Night_Inscryption
That’s what I think Mr Blue eyes is
He’s a Blackwall AI who’s planning to take over the world in secret and make V his right hand enforcer during the Suicide mission ending

Will Night City teach us how to love?
