You have to eat some bogus numbers to get to the code.

It’s rare but RNJeezus sometimes really rolls up a matrix where there is no valid code.
This ain’t such a case though. 🙂

That was definitely a hard one! Pretty common to have to burn first entry to start sequence. Don’t recall having to burn the first two entries to start on either of my play throughs.

You have to select two wrong codes then you can get the sequence.

I agree with the pattern I’m seeing others post, so I won’t double down on that, but I will say that sometimes with the longer ones it helps to do it backwards and then see how you need to get to the start. This one took a minute of looking but that was how I got it eventually.

Yes, just choose a random column to enter, then go to the 5th row, choose 55 at the rightermost column. Then work upwards for the FF on third row. There you have it.

Hm, i think this is just a brain fart on your part – this one doesn’t seem any harder than usual.
When it comes to puzzles of any kind, this happens to everyone! So don’t sweat it.

Yes, in the harder ones like when you’re cracking the airdrop, you’ll need to waste one or two slots of buffer to crack the code.

I love this sub, people can post a mildly confusing data hack photo and people are just all “oh yea just click here and here and follow the code”

Sure. It’s 8 0 0 8 5
jackassery aside, work in reverse order. It’s *much* faster and simpler that way.

Tip: you can hover over a letter in the code on the right and the game will highlight all the places where that letter is in the matrix. Knowing this has made me a pro at solving these.

Think outside the box. You dont need to start with either of them thats why your buffer is so long:

Sometimes it’s only one possibility and you just can’t see it. I just back out and try again
i just assign F1 for Quick save and F5 for quick load. So reloading if fail, saves tons of time 😀
