Not only yes but resetting won’t clear out an infection. You need to wipe it which reset can’t do.

If you haven’t wiped it yet download Malwarebytes and do a scan. This doesn’t have to be a virus, it can also happen if your windows installation is corrupted. If Malwarebytes doesn’t pick anything up you can make backups of your data, like photos or music and movies and stuff. Then you need too completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows with a USB drive. There should be tutorials on YouTube.

It looks like your registry might be corrupted. You need to power off manually Boot in safe mode run defender and a registry check

Yes. But typically it’s Windows that prevents you from resetting Windows.

Just prepare an installation USB drive on a different computer and make a clean install.

random question, what % of your drive is 25Gb? coz like if u turned on disk saver, that eats like 10% of your disk space (in Samsung magician for me)

format, do a clean install of Windows.

    reset is not that.

Why not do a system restore to a prior date to this problem’s first occurrence?
