That’s fine, especially given the scope of the base game. At first I wondered if they would even do DLC at all.

I don’t really mind, elden ring is such a big game I’m not desperate for a never ending supply of it and I think just 1 dlc is fine
AReformedHuman
I really, really hope they do something in the vein of Bloodborne or Sekiro with the next game with a unique twist on the formula.
The formula of pressing B at the right time as worn out its welcome.
EDIT: Souls fanboys are utterly pathetic, holy hell

I mean, even from the start I was looking at elden to be the successor to dark souls
So this was just expected for me

I’m happy to just get the DLC. I’m ready to not have a life again (as if I had one from the start).

Songbird will give you the cure, and you will no longer be Maidenless.

Good. One DLC works best for these types of games. When DS2 had three it was just too much. They are the only Soulsborne DLC I never finished.
Scardigne
that’s fine, engine still could do with more polish for the next release anyways.
would be nice to get uncapped frames, raytracing launch support that’s actually built around it instead of a quick and dirty implementation, dlss and fsr ect.

I hated all the open worlds stuff in Elden Ring. Its just quantity over quality. Its just the same fucking copy/pasted elements in every dungeon. There wasn’t a single dungeon in the whole Game that was fun. Especially the Dungeon Bosses were a huge disappointment.
RhinoxMenace
i sure fucking hope not because eventually, i won’t be able to keep no-lifing these games for 300 hours straight

Elden Ring 2 is probably going to be without Miyazaki
Septic-Shock
Gonna go ahead and request June 21st, 2024 off from work so I can play on the release day!!
Streetperson12345
That’s fine. Elden Ring is bigger than ALL 3 DARKS SOULS GAMES PLUS THEIR DLC.
I think we’ll be fine with just the one dlc.
One-Resort3825
Elden ring is the only souls game where I dont have all of the items and spell locations memorized to heart. The game is so fucking massive I find myself starting a new character often just to learn more stuff
