Do you still have your first PC? I got this Dell 4100 back in 2001. It was one of the first 1GHz machines. PIII/512mb/20GB I sold this computer in the mid 2000’s to a friend. Later it went through a flood and sat. He gave it back to me a few years ago thinking it didn’t work. It still does.

I added the Y2K sticker even though this isn’t pre 1999. Has a BFG FX5200. I re-pasted the CPU and GPU recently.
I do still have it, in storage, an Amiga 500.
No, unfortunately. I wish I knew where my Pentium 100 went.
Can’t kill those old Dell’s! Got an XPS T450 with that same Micron case. Love it!
Well my first PC had a tape drive and a double sided floppy. I in fact did not keep it. Even though I upgraded it with an EGA card and a RAM/multi function add in card when the XT era came in. I even installed an NEC v20 and hard drive later . That helped me skip over the XT/AT series and went straight for a shiny 386sx 20Mhz. It’;s just that computers and peripherals were SO damned expensive.
Now, in comparison, my crappy phone is immensely more powerful and useful.
I still have the first PC I owned myself back in the days. It is a Dell Dimension P133s. There has been a few upgrades to the system since purchase, but it still works and still use it for old games.

Yes.
Yeah… mine is a Vic20. (Yes really.)
My C-64 yes. 1MHz. I had to throw out my Amiga 2000 but I kept the chips and faceplate.
Nice
if we are talking about desktops, yes, laptops included, no
I wish I had my old computers. A treasure come home!
I no longer have my Commodore 64
I still have my Commodore 64 and my IBM.
Buried in various places of my parents house are all my PCs.
Never some got rid of any of them. I must root them all out some day.
The first PC that was strictly mine was a beige box PIII 833 with 128MB of RAM and a Nvidia TNT2 video card. Played a whole lotta Unreal Tournament on that puppy. Sadly I don’t have any of that stuff anymore.

Compact
Windows XP it got lost years ago
But it was great going back the one we had didn’t have a graphic card so they were super easy to find as an adult so I was able to do a rebuild with much better hardware which makes her a much funner experience to go back now
I’d love to still have my first PC for the sentimental value. 486/33, 8MB of ram (I think), massive 200MB hard drive.
Yes, my Phenom II X4 820, with 4gb ram and GPU on-board
RIP BFG
Thks was back when they still made devices that actually last for long
My first PC I put together via parts starting with a hand me down Packard Bell in the late 90s. Started as a 486 machine, eventually got a Pentium over drive processor. When I finally got my own “proper” machine around 2000 I handed it to a neighbor kid who was into computers. He got a few more years out of it, so it was the right move.
My first pc was an acer predator from the year 2015, i don’t have it anymore, but i gave it to my friend to use as a server computer
Acer Extenza shitbox laptop with 3gbs ddr2 ram
My dad bought me this same model for Xmas, I almost cried seeing yours and the wave or emotion. My dads been gone about 10yrs and I have a hard time not remembering him as he was when cancer took him, he just didn’t even look human bone cancer is fucking horrible . Remembering the pc took me back to that Xmas and I can see his face from when I was a kid. Thank you
Yes I do, as a youngling I’ve simply upgraded it with a new graphics card and cpu. Kept them for display and lent the computer to my younger brother
I still be using my first pc, other than a second ssd I added, 2 gpu upgrades and a ram upgrade it’s basically original!

I don’t have the PC, but I keep Christmas ornaments in the box.
Wish I knew on what land filler my 486 is currently at.
Relatively new to pcs so I still have my first and only PC(only used laptops prior to getting a pc)
I wish I still had my Pentium 3 🙁
I wish I still had my commodore 🙁
No. But I wish I did.
IBM PC 8088 CGA 2-5 1/4” no HD.
That thing is a collectible now.
My first machine was a 386/33 MHz with 4 MB RAM and a whopping 120 MB HDD. I remember the sales guy saying it was a “bottomless pit” of storage. lol
My first pc was similar! PIII 900 w512 ram!
