What are some of the most disturbing moments in horror games?
One scene I saw recently is from Resident Evil 3 (2020) when Jill Valentine gets infected by a giant spider through her mouth. It was so wild and unexpected.
Probably almost getting your dick chopped off in Outlast.

In the original Resident Evil 2, Claire has a unique death animation against the final boss if you get killed by it’s central mouth. She gets folded backwards until her heels touch the back of her head.
I remember just holding the controller in shock and turning to my friend in disbelief.

Telltales the walking dead season 1 episode 2, when everyone gets Tricked into eating human flesh by the farm family and then you discover the victim chained up still alive upstairs with his legs chopped off bleeding out. Seeing a human essentially be treated as wild stock traumatized my 7 year old brain
