I gave up on COD because the series has become so bad and retarded that there is no point in playing it anymore. Maybe I sound like a BF fanboy, but I'm actually a COD veteran. I've played everything from the first trilogy, expansions, golden age, jetpacks until today. Reasons what made me stop is the limitation of the game to one META for which you need to have no life to follow it every month. Then a large number of bugs, poor optimization, lack of content, recycled content, SBMM, repetitive and frustrating gameplay, pay 2 win mechanics, sick number of cheaters, desperate skins that are too expensive, a campaign that I would tought out 10 times better for my 20 minute break at work. So I said goodbye to COD because Activision came up with all this and as far as I can see they have no intention of fixing this all in the next 40 years.
Cod is barely hanging on, disappointing releases after another. They don't understand people aren't chasing after the old maps but the old systems, they remake the wrong aspect and get poor results because of it
Nah fortnite was never better than cod honestly although by just barely. I thought fortnite would finally top when Floor is Lava came back after years BUT NO THEY COMPLETELY F’ED UP THE MODE AND I AINT FORGIVING THEM TILL THEY FIX IT BACK TO WHAT IT WAS. The only thing bringing cod down for me is the lack of zombies content by brain exploded last night from boredom
Ofc the big three will continue to thrive but I see a new game slowly climbing up that is the finals. People are out here buying new gen consoles just so they can get into the game as long as the devs don't mess up it has a chance of dethroning cod
