I’m a tech in schools. I kept an old CRT monitor in the woodshop for as long as I could. That thing could be caked in sawdust and still just work. The new stuff would crap out if someone forgot to turn on the air handler one day. I assume you guys are rough on the equipment in that lab, and you’re being punished with old junk. Stop spelling out your name with the keyboard keys. Stop cutting the USB cables. Stop pulling parts off of them. Stop moving your favorite mouse/keyboard around the room. If you do that for a while, your lab will probably get a refresh.
