Can anyone share how they cable manage a desk setup in the middle of the room and not against a wall? Pic is of my current setup and I am going to move this to the office where I will be in the middle and not against the wall.

My desk is basically in the middle of the room. I only have 2 cables attached to my desk. One cable is my internet, I prefer wired, I could use wifi and that would be one cable less. The other cable is electricity. I have a power strip mounted underneath the desk for loudspeakers and usb chargers etc. How you protect the cable is a concern. The way I protect my cables is with a flat metal tube that runs along the floor. If I wasn’t a renter I would sink it beneath floor level. If I had floorboards it would be easy to run it beneath the floorboards but my house is made of concrete. There was a time I was playing with the idea to take the electricity from the ceiling where the light outlet is and have the cable hang down from above. Too bad we beam electricity like in Star Trek yet lol.
