I played through once and am early into part 2. My V killed himself on the balcony.
I planned on going. Out gunz blasting. Meet panam and the nomads. Found a family. I lived. Now panam calls me to say she has to work late and I beat the meat. There is sand everywhere.
First playthrough, >!I let Johnny live.!< Even in real life, that’s what I would have chosen should the events in Cyberpunk happen to me. Heck, I probably would have just taken the>! “end it all pill” at the very moment Misty gave it. !<LOL. I’m too lazy to fight for my life
I did The Star first because it was the only ending where Judy didn’t leave. My favourite has to be the most recent ending I’ve played through, which is DFTR + Temperance. Something about it just gave me inner peace.
My very first playthrough? I was a corpo V and loved Takemura so I went full on with Arasaka.
On Phantom Liberty, I went >!all in with So Mi and helped her rocket up to Luna. !<
Star, because my Nomad V got a new clan and got to leave Night City with her best friend Panam and her gf Judy ❤️
Panam is my ride or die so i had to choose the ending with her, I was not disappointed
just finished my first play though. got the ending where johnny takes over Vs body. I just hope he went on to make some more awesome music.
Riding off into the wastes with Panam, my girl Judy in tow, as female V was my first and favorite ending. What an awesome ending. I don’t know if we save me, but damn, you know everyone is gonna give it a try.
I sent Song Mi to the moon, I hope she’s free and says hello to Lucy for me. Rebecca is avenged – I’ll have to send Lucy a postcard myself for that one. I’m sure she’d like to know David and Rebecca can now RIP.

I stormed Arasaka with Panam and Saul, then opted to let Johnny live.
The second time around (starting from a save before Embers), I got the casino ending, which was a disappointment, as it was too cryptic, and I’d like help understanding what actually happened.
Now on my second playthrough, aiming for a happier end.

I did the Nomad ending at first playthrough.
My favourite would be the Reaper ending as you just solo the shit out of Arasaka on front door assault and although it is highly speculated >!Street Kid/Reaper endings can actually end up saving your life as Mr. Blue Eyes is confirmed to have some kind of cure.!<
All the endings have their own merit. The tower ending with friendly Johnny is his best, he changes so much. The devil ending is also another good one, as you fucked it all up and he’s right about you but he still doesn’t take control. When you give him control is pretty great but I kinda wished there was a “non friendly” version where he changes your face to his and sends another nuke Arasakas way. The don’t fear the reaper is the most fun, and Mr. blue eyes is the most exciting aspect of any of them. Nomad ending is probably the best but, since you can take Judy if your a chick and possibly can get to take river, though why anyone would want him as a SO is beyond me, creepy fuckin bastard. Suicide is the most metal ending, that’s the first thing Johnny ever said to you, and I can respect it more than dying slowly but still, it’s a little too early.
All the endings are Cyberpunk as fuck. I love them all. But only one truly ruins Arasaka and, despite that not being the main goal, it makes me feel the best. Plus you get to live. Johnny doesn’t but he was on borrowed time. It’s between the tower and the “give Johnny the body” ending. I just wish I could do the latter for the same johnny that caused the first night city holocaust. This ain’t a friendly city, and as he said it could do with another nuke. That’s cyberpunk as fuck. Sitting in the passenger seat as you slowly dissolve away, watching Johnny annihilate half the city again, it’s fucked up but that’s the ending I really wanted. Let him go out in a second blaze of glory and paint the night sky in Vs name as the city crumbles into dust. That’s what I really wanted. Fuck this shit city and fuck Arasaka, they don’t deserve to end in incompetent failure dragging everyone else down, they deserve nuclear fire that cleanses the world of their stench. A human solution, fuck unleashing AIs on humanity. Wipe might city off the map and sing “never fade away” as you do it. No part 2, end that shit once and for all. You’ve got a city to burn, that’s what we were Introduced to this city with, let it be so. Burn the whole fuckin country if need be. Cleanse the world.

I’ve played The Devil, The Sun, The Star, and The Tower.
I’d rank them this way (best to worst):
1. The Sun
2. The Star
3. The Tower
4. The Devil
I made V kill herself.
Back then, I figured it was as close to closure as she’d get, with death being hours away.
Even though it is dark and not a happy ending at all, the devil ending made me lose my mind, and that was awesome to experience.

I like the story a lot, but I haven’t finished it tbh.. I can’t get over how you can’t even enter like 90% of buildings. You cannot explore the garbage patch on the edge of the city without texture issues. Vehicle control is meh. Character bonding is wack. You can explore like 60% of the space you can see in the game. I wish it was more developed after so many years
I think the star is the best one. It feels the most like V has undergone an arc. Really hits home if you’re corpo V. Plus I think the star ending us the only one that feels like V “wins”. Like he managed to escape night city and thus defeat it (I tend to think of NC as a hungry, evil entity that feeds on human misery, by leaving with the Aldecaldos V denies it a meal). I got real “angry monster roars in frustration after its prey escapes” kinda vibes from the Star ending. Even though V might be dead in 6 months. Idk. I’d rather live out my days in peace as a nobody (Fuck Dex) than buy whatever lie NC is selling.
I actually tried them all and decided that this one was how my corpo V ended things.
First one I did was “don’t fear the reaper” but we’re I keep my body and Johnny goes off with alt.
Second was the phantom Liberty ending where you get the surgery to remove Johnny through the government.
I did the star ending first. On my second playthrough I did the sun ending!
My first ending was with Panam as Male V and it’s the one I just always go back too cuz I love the character of Panam and it gives V a bittersweet but happy ending in my opinion.

I went for the nomad ending on my first playthrough, but quickly did the others right after. My favorite, by far, is the secret Johnny ending where you just storm Arasaka solo. Mostly because it’s the most challenging, but also because it’s exactly how a Night City legend should go out.
First ending I chose was the devil, because at that time it was the only choice where V “survives” the ending (if only for a few months.) Being erased and replaced with a copy by soulkiller just seemed like death, so I didn’t want to do an Alt ending. But seeing Saburo reincarnated and take his first steps to becoming an immortal God Emperor was deeply chilling, and made me think it had to be the wrong ending.
My favourite was giving Johnny a body, and seeing him taking his first few steps to letting go of his anger and his past and becoming a freer person. It really did feel refreshing.
The Sun ending was my first, and my favourite. Hearing V saying he would do anything for a second chance, and Johnny saying that he’s scared for V, is so genuine and beautiful. And then watching Johnny respect V’s body, putting the necklace in the columbarium, and leaving Night city? Love it. And I love it because it shows just how much Johnny changed.
I spoiled myself on the endings before playing, so I kind of decided these paths ahead of time.
Nomad Female V – The Star (Aldecaldos). It’s time to move on. Hey, Judy.
Streetkid Male V – (Don’t) Fear The Reaper. Night City *will* know my name.
Corpo Female V – The Sun (Rogue) – Temperance. V already had her second chance. Now it’s Johnny’s turn.
I just finished my fourth playthrough tonight. Corpo V again, because I got the most out of that one last time. Went for The Star. I guess the theme for this one will be something like, Arasaka wasn’t any kind of life, or family. Now maybe I can have both.
*Fallout 4* tomorrow, with the new update. *Cyberpunk* is hanging up for a while. But it’s been a lot of fun. Perfect game to kick off the new year with my new drug, 60fps. Fuck, I’m old.

The Star. Anyway you should do a 2nd playthrough and bump up the difficulty. Idk bout you but I remember my 2nd playthrough more than my first because the missions were easier to understand so I could focus more on the events and the order which I played main missions was more deliberate so again they stuck in my head more
