Acer tc 885, i7 8700, 16gb 2666 ram, 2070 super
Tx 650 psu and arctic cpu cooler, plus case attacked with dremel for front intake.

Planning for 2 x 16gb sticks better ram, cable management 🤦 think i mite need modular psu to sort that mess out, temps are good and the mess holds itself out the way currently.

I love cursed builds like this. I ran ghetto mods on my two previous gpus( deshrouding and zipting on 120mm fans).

It’s hideous yet glorious at the same time. 8/10

Brings me back to when there was no psu compartment, and no modular psu’s. Also the cases were windovless, so not a worry in the world.

  4. 15 years ago this was just what the inside of a PC looked like.

  5. the cable management reminds me of the burning landfill in india…

The best cable management is no cable management

Is that ball of cables growing?!

I was recently looking for a cheap case, I was surprised they still make cases with PSUs on the top

[This DIYPC case](https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811353183?Item=N82E16811353183) didn’t seem bad for $42, but I didn’t buy it because the PSU was on top. The spare PSU I had for the PC was non-modular.

Happily spent $8 more on a superior Phanteks XT PRO case.

PSU is a bit overpowered I guess, but otherwise it is fine.

How come no tempered glass side panel? They are very popular and durable.

Step 1: Button it up and forget what it looks like inside.

    Step 2: Enjoy!
