Always tape down the fan blades so they don’t spin. You can definitely be careful/lucky and not spin them up enough, but not worth the risk.

Pressurised air, like in a workshop or garage, can be powerful enough to damage PC parts. I assume it didn’t happen this time, but in future I’d advise against it as it can blow off capacitors.

That case is a little oversized for that GPU. Though, last I heard, size isn’t everything, right?
Also, be careful with air compressors like that; they can damage hardware if set too high. It’s better to use compressed air cans or lower the pressure since it’s set way too high.

do NOT let fans spin when you clean with compressed air, especially if they are still connected to the mobo. Those things are turned into a windmill generators, putting power back into the mobo. I hope I don’t have to tell you that this is not how stuff was designed and why it’s a bad thing.
If you air clean your case, either disconnect the fans, so you only gonna kill the fans and not the other components, or better, put a small tape or your fingers or whatever in the fan’s way so they cannot spin.
