That feeling of guilt & dread when you buy all the parts, then the feeling of joy & fun as you put the parts together, finally the thrill & exhilaration when it boots first time….
For that much money doing a custom loop doesn’t sound that bad.
ahh yes, the power of understanding how to build a pc and self diagnose it and the power to fix it on your own, it is certainly rewarding in the long run.

I don’t understand the i9 14900…overpriced…
is that just cablemod cables or the angled 12vhpwr adapter too? if so don’t use the adapter its recalled due to burning 4090 power connectors.

I returned my 14900k and went with a 7800x3d. I’m enjoying it much more
You’re gonna be so happy with this GPU. It’s stylish, strong and dead silent. I have the 4080 variant, which has basically the same heatsink, at 350W the fans barely move and it’s sitting under 70 degrees.
