Not necessarily cancelled but i remember being so hyped for the original XCOM reboot. It eventually became “The Bureau: XCOM Declassified” but i just dont think it had anything that original trailer and gameplay had.
I remember seeing the 50s suburban neighborhood being overtaken by alien geometry and life, becoming all blocky, and i wanted it so bad but oh well.
If not that, maybe Bully 2. I would kill for a sequel.
I’ll never not be pissed off about Silent Hills. At least I still have PT. Scalebound is another one.
I think for me it’s a tie between silent hills and Megaman legends 3

There’s to many. The SSX series hurt me. The games were so fun as a child and I’m still playing them today enjoying them. Would love for another one to come out. Brother in arms WW2 series would be great to have in modern day. A series from computer that got cancelled that I was really mad about was no one lives forever spy game. The game had such a good story and had so much potential to have what happened to it.

It’s quite recent and I still hope that they’ll change their mind one day, but it’s Spider-Man: The Great Web for me. Insomniac wanted to do a multiplayer spidey game, that takes place in the multiverse. But Sony (not Insomniac themselves) canceled it. I really hope that Sony will change their mind, a spidey multiplayer/coop set in an open world sounds incredible!

Anthem reboot. The base game had some great ideas, and traversal was so much fun.

I’ll never understand Konami on this. They had Hideo fucking Kojima on board, along with Norman Reedus and Junji Ito. Why ? Who looked at this project and said : « yup, no let’s cancel that shit, it’s gonna be caca ». Even if there were creative conflicts or whatever, they had littéral gold in their hands !
