Why/how did I die here? I'm new to the ZNS EE btw – read description for more Was I supposed to use my shield? Or do I have to kill him before a time limit runs out? I tried dodging her attacks as you could see in the vid – but they seemed to lock on to me like homing missles. Maybe I should try quick revive – or my shield – and/or a weapon with less recoil to shoot the mouth more, faster. Pls help 😛

You walked into the spider’s attacks. Its leg attacks alternate between left and right, it doesn’t lock onto the player. If you stand in the middle, you shouldn’t be affected by the leg attacks, but watch your steps for acid on the ground if it spits out the acid.
You unfortunately, went to dodge, but ran right into the attack pattern
As the other posters said you just need to remember the attack positions to avoid this type of death again.
Best weapons IMO to go in with are the Dingo (PAP) and the KT. Use the dingo on the boss and aim just for its mouth. When the little spiders come out use the KT to put puddles around you for them to walk into while you continue to shoot the big spider.
Also are you trying to do the EE? If so are you using a guide? I’ve got a tip for later in the EE which most YT guides don’t show properly but don’t want to spoil things if you’re trying to do it without a guide.
