If it’s functioning, worth it for the power supply alone! With the specs it probably will run a lot of current games on medium and if you replace just the Vid card it should play pretty much everything medium.

That isn’t that bad, someone must have stolen it, discovered they either didn’t know what to do with it, or couldn’t hock it for any real money, or someone suspected they stole it, so they just dumped it.

Looks like a decent case. The PSU is high end. The parts can probably be sold for a small profit. You could probably sell these parts for a small profit, especially the PSU, to fund your own rig upgrade.

I’m using a very similar case from that era to this day. It’s a Carbide 300R midi tower from Corsair, the one on your pic is most likely a bigger case from the same series.
For the record, still using my EVGA Supernova G2 psu from that build, only a 750w though 🙂

I’ll never understand how people just casually throw away whole ass systems. Sure, the 4930k is a bit dated and missing instructions but throwing away even a noctua cpu cooler with the fan is insane to me.

The GTX 690 is a very cool piece of dual GPU history. I’d keep it as a display piece. Or if it works you might be able to get $150 for it on eBay.
