The technical test they streamed on YT was enough to convince me it’s going to be excellent
I admit I still wish they were making a new IP, I don’t blame them for following the money given what a huge hit 1 was. And I’m sure it’ll still be very good.
As someone who’s not great at gaming, I bought the first part and was enjoying it a lot. But then I realized there’s no progress save and you have to do a run from start to finish in one sitting? I keep getting my ass kicked by the Bull and can’t make it past. Is it really possible to finish the game in one sitting? Am I just that bad or am I doing something wrong?
Pretty fun to play. Of course it’s sad that it doesn’t go past the first region. it has some fresh mechanics that keeps it from being just a Hades 1 with a new coat of paint.
Am I the only one that thought Hades was a good game but a terrible roguelike? The same 4 zones and the same 4 bosses every run is some of the smallest scope I’ve ever seen in one. Build variety was also really lacking compared to its contemporaries.
