Maybe I’m late to the game here. But, there’s a game file setting that determines the time delay between sliding and sprinting…and you can simply set it to 0 ms? Comes pre-set at 400 ms.

Again – Maybe I’m just behind the ball on this one. I’ve seen the game file tweak videos before for better performance and audio but this was never mentioned.

Jesus, game is more jank than expected

  3. Can’t see the files on Xbox, but am now curious if it’s like that too.

What file is this? And is it only applicable to keyboards?

Just remember that tweaking files outside of the in game settings is against the ToS

That’s straight up cheating though, and will get you banned

This is specific to the auto sprint setting. This is the delay between starting to move forward and auto sprint kicking in.

Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble, but this setting does nothing. Whatever improvements you may feel, it’s placebo.

Proof that it does nothing: [https://twitter.com/BrandonNINE/status/1764020050036724150](https://twitter.com/BrandonNINE/status/1764020050036724150)

Either way, you’d have to be really delusional if you think Activision was just gonna leave a significant game-changing setting in the config like that for every PC player to mess around with.

It’s set to 400 mil secs yes. Know what else is? Slide to sprint is off. If you watched a YouTube video where they talk about editing it they are just tryna get views. Change the setting to slide into sprint. And it changes it. There was a similar one about water caustics in MW2.

This is a bannable offense BTW. Will they find out? IDK. But it’s possible to get your account canned for this.
