This game has a way of hitting you right in the feels when you least expect it. 🙁

Went and sat next to a guy playing pon pon for a while, just letting the world sink in. V really has to deal with a lot of shit. Johnny was right.

Should have just hacked him with a “System Reset.”

First time, thought all was cool, then that pop when the door closed. My gut just sank and had to go back in and see if he was alright.

Lost friends that same way, man. Very rarely does a game truly break me as badly as this one did.

Yeah, I was so proud of myself for having resolved everything peacefully. It’s even worse if you snoop through his emails.

Mike Pondsmith, I hear, has been approached about making a Cyberpunk game or two in the past. He turned them down because their vision never aligned with Mike’s.

So here we have a game. Someone made the grade. It’s gritty, real, unfortunately relatable in its neon future world that makes you uncomfortable with how true to life something’s are.

In the same world where a rockstar goes to save his ghost-in-the-machine girlfriend and nuke the corp that did it- we get hard hit real people moments like this that are far to close to home.
