I preface this with the fact that I believe he is still overvaluing his PC, but…
The amount of people saying “3090 not that expensive!!” or “3090 never costed that much!!!” are comparing prices to something like an Asus TUF. This is a HOF card, which not only was never even manufactured in NA (and thus is pretty much an Asia exclusive item), but is quite literally designed to be the BEST possible make of any given model.
You guys are essentially saying “my Toyota corolla didn’t cost 100k so why does your nice Lamborghini cost so much more? SCAM!!!” — there are higher end models of every product, and some are simply halo products with a bit of extra performance that cost significantly more. Do your cheaper alternatives work fine? Yes. But to say that he was scammed because he obviously paid for a very exclusive, extremely rare in NA item that likely costed an arm and leg just in import fees is nothing more than a misinformed opinion.
