I don’t know who needs to hear this: The Nintendo 64’s audio and graphics were handled by a 64 bit sgi chip called the “Reality Co-Processor” or RCP for short. In goldeneye, the development team was forbidden from naming guns after their real-world counterparts. So, what would have been a P-90, was given a nod to the n64’s hardware and dubbed the RCP90 instead.

It’s been so long. 25 years or something? I instantly went “RCP 90’s” when I saw them! Used to rampage with these at youth club. We played one shot kill as a rule so these were god tier!
