I’m a gay dude with a submissive side that was in full swing when I started to play Persona 5 for the first time. So naturally I dropped the f-word as my characters name. Didn’t really get into it and stopped playing after a little while. Started up again after a month or two and I was far enough into the game that people were calling me Joker primarily or just using pointed language but not my name. The first time that my name popped up I thought Persona 5 was the most homophobic shit on the planet. Took me 5 minutes to remember what I did.
