Technically yes, we did got a Black Ops 3 Remaster at the Steam Workshop by Copforthat, that played like the original and is a great faithful remaster with a sweet teardrop EE tribute to Romero, but I’m gonna be honest, I alway wondered if Call of the Dead did make it to the Original Zombies Chronicles (if they got George and the celebrities their estates back) or a Chronicles 2 if Chronicles 1 was only on the Aether crew.
But, since we technically have Call of the Dead on PC, how would a Chronicles version of Call of the Dead would make changes to make it better and how would a George Romero EE homage tribute if Treyarch were able to negotiate with Romeo’s family and closest relatives on bringing his character and estate?

Would make it boss round only come round 1 and leave him dead for round 9 instead of round 1 and then round 3…..
If Treyarch had officially brought back CotD in BO3 via ZC then I could see things like the BO3 movement system, sliding, GobbleGums, Ray Gun Mark 2, and Annihilator all adding new gameplay twists to the map for better or for worse depending on your perspective of those things.
I haven’t played it yet but isn’t Tag Der Toten a remake?
They did on 4 as has been pointed out and they did tribute Romero. I itch his glasses that give you free points when you click on them
Shoot, gonna mention that yes, Tag Der Toten was there too, even though it did pay homage to Romero and is a reimagined of the map, Tag is a great map with a bittersweet ending that is divided by fans, whenever you say about BO4’s reception being a mixed bag.

Probably would have victis and pablo marinus and the thundergun would come back
But if we’re being realistic, the only thing chronicles would have changed is adding gums and AATs (and maybe actually making cotd and shang required to do moon ee like in the original), but everything else would be the same even with george as a boss. 255 would be easy just training on the beach, and flopper would be replaced with widows wine
All the ZC maps were essentially identical to their predecessors with the exception of adding the gobble gum machines and having AAT’s with the pack a punch. So I’d assume the EE would remain unchanged.
