It has always seemed ridiculous to me that some games have a second series, like Overwatch. I think Smite is among these games. If they’re just going to update the graphics, I think they could do this with an update. If a second game is coming, I hope the graphics aren’t the only change.

Edit 2: Apparently they’re made by Hi-Rez, who I’ve also never heard of, but they seem to own a lot of licenses for games they didn’t make, but I *am* familiar with.

Edit 3: Oh, they made the Overwatch clone (that they said wasn’t, but instead a clone of TF2 that they made once, sucked, and tried again) that failed! Lol They’re releasing a sequel to a free-to-play game. Wanted to be just like Blizz, huh? Prey on those Zoomers.

I will not be playing Smite 2 due to the skins debacle. If they’re gonna treat their consumers that way they don’t deserve muh cash or time.
Predecessor is scratching my itch just fine. Its a great game.
